Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
In this role, you will design, build, and operate modern Linux‑based, containerised platforms that underpin advanced cyber‑defence capability. You'll engineer Kubernetes‑driven solutions, enhance automation across development and deployment workflows, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, scalable systems. You'll take ownership of platform performance, apply creative problem‑solving to drive continuous improvement, and be supported by a highly skilled community as you develop new approaches to cloud‑native engineering.
You’ll also contribute to the integration, configuration, and testing of systems, translating detailed business and technical requirements into robust software and platform functionality. As systems evolve, you'll help shape their lifecycle management, ensuring operational excellence across complex, mission‑critical environments.
To succeed, you'll bring strong experience in Linux systems engineering, container orchestration, automation, and cloud‑native delivery, paired with a practical understanding of modern DevOps toolchains and iterative delivery approaches.
