Part-Time Management Accountant, Real Estate (ACCA/CIMA)
Job summary
A luxury property developer is seeking a part-time Management Accountant to join their finance team. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts, assisting with budgets, managing bookkeeping, and working with VAT returns. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and an ACCA or CIMA qualification. This position involves working in the office for 3-4 days a week.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience as a Management Accountant, preferably in the property sector.
- Must be ACCA or CIMA qualified, consideration for QBE depending on experience.
- Understanding of UK accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets.
- Manage external accountants and bookkeeping function.
- Submit VAT returns.
- Produce financial statements for FC approval.
- Support Financial Controller with annual audit process.
- Assist with cash flows and movement of cash between holding companies.
