Junior Electrical Design Engineer
GBP30,000 – GBP35,000 + Benefits + Early Finish Friday

- Assist in creating 2D electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical for bespoke control panels.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to support the integration of control systems into equipment and installations
- Support the panel build process by providing documentation and clarifying design intent to the assembly team
- Help document design changes and participate in design reviews
- Assist during testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) stages as needed
- A formal qualification in Electrical or Engineering–related discipline (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent) or prior experience in a similar role
- Experience in AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience of fault finding on PLCs (Siemens TIA preferred) advantageous
- A practical, hands–on approach to problem–solving and strong attention to detail
- A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work
Located in Hampshire, this role would be commutable from Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot or Winchester.
