Junior Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:

• Assist in creating 2D electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical for bespoke control panels.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to support the integration of control systems into equipment and installations
• Support the panel build process by providing documentation and clarifying design intent to the assembly team
• Help document design changes and participate in design reviews
• Assist during testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) stages as needed

Junior Electrical Design Engineer – The Person:

• A formal qualification in Electrical or Engineering–related discipline (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent) or prior experience in a similar role
• Experience in AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience of fault finding on PLCs (Siemens TIA preferred) advantageous
• A practical, hands–on approach to problem–solving and strong attention to detail
• A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work

Located in Hampshire, this role would be commutable from Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot or Winchester.
