Design Engineer jobs in United Kingdom

My client is on the lookout for a Senior Design Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering to join their integrated team and lead the design of infra and non-infra projects on our Yorkshire Water Framework from outline design through to detailed design, construction and commissioning support.

The sites will be within 1 hour’s distance from Wakefield head office. You will be able to operate on a hybrid basis.

1. Be a qualified Engineer and ideally chartered or a member of a relevant institution i.e. ICE/CEng.
2. Have extensive civil design experience, inc. drainage, gained through working on infrastructure projects within the UK water sector.
3. Have strong knowledge of the UK Water Industry and Sewer Sector Guidance standards for drainage design.
4. Have expertise in software design methods such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civils3D; knowledge of integration with BIM models would be desirable.
5. Have a full UK driving license.
