Job summary
A leading logistics provider in Northampton is seeking a Customer Service Advisor. Duties include answering customer queries, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and communication skills, and be comfortable working on the phone. The position offers £12.21 per hour and could become permanent after an initial 12-week period.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Email.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls related to delivery queries.
- Communicate with delivery drivers to schedule their next drop.
- Book in deliveries with customers.
- Write emails to customers.
- Update and maintain the database with address details.
Skills
Location: Northampton (NN5)
Position: Customer Service Advisor
Shift: Friday to Tuesday, 11:00–20:00 on Fridays and 08:00–17:00 Saturday to Tuesday
Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks.
