The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Deliver engaging lessons for A Level Psychology and Criminology courses.
  • Assess, Monitor, and Record student progress accurately, providing timely, constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of subject schemes of work and resources.
  • Ensure high levels of student attainment and provide targeted intervention where necessary.
  • Act as a personal tutor, offering academic and pastoral guidance to a group of students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and wider college quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain a stimulating, safe, and well‑organised classroom learning environment.
  • Liaise with parents/guardians and external agencies regarding student welfare and progress.
