An educational support agency in the United Kingdom seeks graduates in Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology to support children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Our pupils may have additional sensory needs, physical disabilities or display challenging behaviour — and they deserve the very best support.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, imaginative and energetic individuals who are passionate about psychology and supporting young people. You’ll be part of a highly skilled team supporting 125 pupils through a rich, personalised curriculum, being trained in using approaches such as PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, Sensory Integration, Positive Touch and a range of complementary therapies.
The role would entail supporting a child with needs on a one-to-one basis, assisting them in learning, social skills, understanding concepts, encouraging communication, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe, and motivating them to achieve.
Graduates - Psychology / Sociology / Criminology - £90 to £100 per day
The role would include supporting children during social activities, outings, and sports events, and helping them during therapy sessions, as well as supporting the teacher in the classroom and playground.

HOURS: Monday to Friday from 08h30 to 15h30 (school term time)
PAY: £90 to £110 per day (including holiday pay)
