A specialist SEMH school in Canterbury is seeking a motivated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you’ll provide consistent, one‑to‑one and group support to pupils, helping them develop positive behaviours, self‑regulation, and emotional resilience.
- Recent graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Education, Youth Studies, or related fields.
- Candidates with a genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs.
- Enthusiastic, reliable individuals eager to learn from experienced teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists.
- Gain practical, real‑world experience in behaviour management within a specialist SEMH school.
- Shadow teachers and therapists to learn strategies for supporting SEMH students.
- Develop transferable skills in communication, conflict resolution, and child‑centred support.

- Excellent on‑site training, support and CPD provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
- £90 – £100 per day, Mon‑Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only.
- You must have the right to work in the UK in order to apply – no visa sponsorship.
