Health & Safety Officer — Up to £38,000 — Newport. Our Client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team in Newport. You will coordinate, support, and advise on all aspects of Health and Safety, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards across the business.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Deliver comprehensive Health & Safety training to employees
- Investigate and report incidents and accidents
- Collaborate with department heads to maintain a safe working environment

- Monday to Friday, shifts between 08:00-17:30
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Health & Safety management
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH National Fire Certificate in Fire Safety & Fire Safety Management
- COSHH trained
- Experience implementing and monitoring Fire Risk Assessments
- Skilled in advising managers, handling investigations, and delivering training
- Strong knowledge of H&S policies, procedures, and legislation
