A leading retail company in the United Kingdom is hiring a finance professional to provide insights for improving profitability and budget forecasting for their Digital channel. Candidates should have a background in business partnering and commercial finance, ideally within retail, along with strong Excel skills. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be working closely with the Multichannel, Creative and International teams to drive insight and business growth.
This person will be a business partner for the Multichannel Director and provide insight into Direct (digital) performance helping to drive both sales and profitability through the development and production of weekly/monthly reports. This will involve working with the Marketing team to understand the success of marketing expenditure (both online and offline) and a good understanding of the return on investment of new customer acquisition and the retention of existing customers.
As well as giving insight into the performance this person will support the sales and gross margin budgeting and forecasting process both from a Channel and Customer perspective working with both the Direct team and Marketing team to produce the future business plans.
This person will also business partner with key members of the Creative and International teams to drive continuous improvement and future growth opportunities.
