Assistant Financial Controller Confidential Hotel Employer

Salary: From £27,000 Hours: Full-time, MondayFriday

Location: Liverpool City Centre (on-site)

The Role
  • Support daily accounting operations across AP, AR and ledger management
  • Process payments, post invoices (Sage) and manage purchase orders
  • Complete reconciliations including bank, statements and petty cash
  • Prepare weekly payroll data and update employee financial information
  • Assist with stock control and inventory checks
  • Contribute to monthly P&L preparation and weekly forecasting
  • Analyse financial data and highlight variances or issues
  • Handle general office, cash-handling and administrative duties
  • Coach and support junior team members
What Were Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience (ideally within hospitality or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confident with financial systems and Microsoft Office
