A prominent railway company in the UK is seeking a Digital Content Editor to manage and optimise its digital channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content that meets user needs and drives engagement. Our digital team works out of 3 main locations, London Paddington, Exeter and Plymouth, therefore you can be primarily based in any of these offices.

We're looking for a Digital Content Editor to manage and optimise our digital channels, including our GWR.com website. In this role, you'll ensure content is clear, accurate, accessible and meets user needs. You'll drive organic growth by leading on-page SEO and supporting the wider SEO function across technical and off-page practices.
Using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, you'll identify opportunities, improve engagement and deliver data-driven enhancements for our website. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll bring their information to life online through effective communication and promotion, while championing digital best practices.
This role combines communication, content optimisation and stakeholder engagement to deliver content that enhances commercial goals and customer experience. To support with collaboration, occasional travel across the GWR network is required.

To ensure collaboration and support for our stakeholders, some travel to other locations on the GWR network will be required on occasion. Free train travel for GWR is included as part of this role.
