Overview:
The Education & Training department was set up by De Beers Group in 2008 and is designed to focus on boosting natural diamond sales and consumer confidence across the diamond industry.
The team provides a suite of services including:
The Content Editor will be responsible for designing, creating, posting and monitoring global assets and content. This post requires someone with knowledge and passion for content creation and design. There is a heavy digital and social focus, but PowerPoints for meetings/presentations, written materials (handouts etc) and static graphics for posters etc are also required. All subject matter expertise will be provided by the wider educational team, but strong experience of working cross-functionally is required to get the best results.
Working to load content into our Content Management System (to supply our App) will be a big part of the role, and a ‘Super-User’ status will be part of the role.
Building strong relationships with our agency partners is also a key aspect of this role. Managing key project streams within wider projects will be expected, and getting the best outputs from our key partners is a central measure of success.
The role also provides physical support for all events and courses that are run in our UK offices (London and Maidenhead). This role coordinates all movement of ‘kit’ in partnership with our local facilities teams. The role also acts as a ‘guardian’ for students when they are in our locations, providing welcomes and facilitating breaks/movement around our offices.

Internal: The wider educational subject matter experts, Group and country-based marketing teams, globally placed training teams, Group Functions including legal, facilities and finance, Research & Development teams.
External: A variety of marketing and educational agencies, client (Sightholders & Retailers) marketing & training teams within external companies, media agencies, design agencies and technical partners.
