The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in geoenvironmental consulting/engineering geology, leading a team, reviewing and signing off on technical reports. This role demands strong technical and management capabilities along with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established consultancy in the Leeds area.

This Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant opportunity involces overseeing and leading the environmental teams, providing technical guidance and project delivery. You will be reviewing and signing off on technical reports, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring project requirements are met. You will also have the opportunity to manage tendering, resourcing and finance of the team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Chartered
• Extensive experience in geotechnical design, contaminated land assessments, and project management
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
• Live within a commutable distance of their Leeds office
