Location: Swansea

• Undertake a thorough review of all Stage 3 and Stage 4 design packages, assessing compliance with project specifications, Employer's Requirements and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for design efficiencies and value engineering.
• Engage early with external consultants (architects, civil/structural engineers, fire engineers, landscape architects etc.) as they are novated or appointed for detailed design stages.
• Monitor, coordinate and manage design development by consultants and suppliers, providing feedback and ensuring alignment with building regulations, NHBC/warranty standards and the approved specification.

• Coordinate the technical query process with the client team, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage the design change process, ensuring all modifications are tracked, reviewed, approved and communicated efficiently.
• Oversee document control processes, including management of drawings, specification updates and SharePoint information storage.

• Verify that on-site works are completed in accordance with the design, specifications and Employer's Requirements.
• Prepare monthly design reports and coordinate reporting from external consultants for presentation at client meetings.
• Support the collation of O&M manuals, as-built information, health & safety files and tenant documentation.
• Liaise regularly with internal teams (Technical, Commercial, Procurement, Construction) and attend relevant meetings.

• Degree or HND/C in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a design-related field.
• Strong working knowledge of current Building Regulations and CDM regulations.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with a main contractor or residential developer ideally on apartment or mixed-use schemes.
• A background in Project Management with significant design oversight is highly desirable.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
