A local healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner in Woodbridge. This role involves managing a community caseload, conducting assessments, and delivering tailored mental health interventions. Suitable candidates will hold a relevant professional qualification and have experience working within mental health services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive team committed to improving service user outcomes.
Are you a compassionate, dedicated and motivated Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist who holds a current professional registration and always puts people at the heart of everything you do? Are you a professional who enjoys working as part of a 'can do' and forward‑thinking team as well as embracing the challenge of working autonomously? EIP Suffolk are currently offering a 12 month fixed‑term secondment full‑time opportunity for a Band 6 AfC Mental Health Practitioner to join our specialist team in East Suffolk. Previous experience of working with psychosis within a community setting would be advantageous but not essential. If you hold an interest in early intervention in psychosis we look forward to hearing from you.
As a practitioner you will demonstrate a warm, compassionate, needs‑led approach to working with our service users and their families. The role includes multi‑agency working alongside families, local acute care, primary care, social care, education, employment and voluntary services to ensure service users’ needs are best met. You will undertake assessments of individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis, develop collaborative care plans, deliver bespoke interventions in line with NICE and manage an assigned community caseload. Clinical and management supervision will be provided, with 1:1 and group sessions.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a DBS check for any previous convictions.
Certificate of Sponsorship: Applications from job seekers who require skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome.
UK Registration: Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
