As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑ra. Please note that the pay scale in this advert will not be changing as a result.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

This is an exciting time to join the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership as we embark on a new journey developing community rehabilitation services, including our bed‑based rehabilitation services within our community hospitals. We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, hardworking and dynamic intermediate care multi‑disciplinary team.
Our bed‑based intermediate care services are based in Ellens Glen Community Hospital and Findlay Community Hospital. You will work closely with the members of the Multi‑Disciplinary Team to contribute to the Complex Geriatric Assessment, rehabilitation and complex discharge planning for frail older people admitted to the hospitals.
You will join a supportive, professional environment where multidisciplinary team working is at the centre of our practice and where the contributions of all team members are respected and valued.
