Summary

A leading UK environmental group providing consultancy, services, and solutions aimed at protecting the Earth has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join their Manchester Ecology team. This role is pivotal to influencing and motivating the team to achieve organisational excellence.

You'll be the clear bridge between team members and management, accountable for the efficient, qualitative, and successful delivery of a range of multi-disciplinary projects. You will work closely with and provide value to long-term, highly respected clients, and be committed to building results through a high-performing team. You will also be invested in nurturing the performance and development of talent while promoting and fostering inclusivity to ensure the best outcomes for the business and its customers.

You'll be responsible for delivering project work as well as growing your team, sharing knowledge, insight, and skills to support personal development.

What we are looking for:

• A talented ecologist who can confidently adapt their leadership and project management skills to develop client relationships and meet specific project requirements
• An experienced people manager with an ability to inspire teams
• Ideally, you'll have previous experience of adhering to the CIEEM COPC and a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects across various sectors
• Previous experience in business development, bids, and strategies, adding value and impact to how we operate.
• An undergraduate degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject, demonstrating the ability to work proactively and flexibly in support of changing workloads, as well as organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) (Desirable)
• One or more survey licences (desirable)
