Job summary
A Lloyd's broker is seeking a Specie Claims Technician to join their Global Risk Claims team in London. The successful candidate will handle a variety of claims including Fine Art and Cargo, requiring a minimum of three years of claims experience in the Specie/Cargo field. Responsibilities
- Handle claims arising from a broad mix of industries including Fine Art and Cargo.
- Manage claims from first advice to final settlement.
- Provide administrative support to the Cargo claims team.
Skills
A Lloyd's broker seeks a Specie Claims Technician to work within their Global Risk Claims team. The successful candidate will have solid experience of Specie claims handling and should be looking to make that next step in their career. Areas covered will include Specie, Fine Art, Jewellers Block, Cash in Transit, Cargo, Liability & Auto Damage claims.
- Minimum of three years claims experience, preferably within the Specie/Cargo field.
- Proficiency with London market systems such as ECF and CLASS would be advantageous.
- You will be handling claims arising from a broad mix of industries including Fine Art, Jewellers Block, Cash in Transit, General Specie, Cargo, Liability, Auto Damage.
- Your portfolio will consist principally of open market / binder business on a wholesale basis.
- You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, including setting up first advice, processing and managing subsequent movements on ECF.
- Your duties will also include providing administrative support to the existing members of the Cargo claims team.
