Job summary
A leading media and entertainment company in the UK is seeking a Network Engineer to support Core Network capacity expansion and migrations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Network Design team, utilizing their knowledge of service provider technologies like IOS-XR and Cisco routers. This role offers a hybrid work environment and promotes inclusivity and diversity. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are essential. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to high-performance standards in network operations.

- Solid experience with service provider technologies, understanding Core IP backbone, CDN, Peering and Transit.
- Good experience with IOS-XR based platforms such as Cisco NCS/ASR routers.
- Strong experience in ISIS, MPLS, BGP, QOS, Segment routing, EPE, EVPN, Telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Network Design team to understand requirements.
- Prepare provisioning procedures for network capacity upgrades.
- Deploy procedures during out of business hours.
- Test procedures in lab environment to ensure successful deployment.
