- Drive the vision and long‑term strategy for Outdoor Education and Activities.
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage and deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme (Silver and Gold).
- Lead and develop a skilled team, ensuring training and qualifications are up to date.
- Maintain facilities and equipment to the highest standards.
- Build partnerships to expand opportunities for students.
- Promote student leadership, wellbeing, and engagement through co‑curricular initiatives.
- Experience
- Proven background in the outdoor industry and working with young people.
- Experience running Duke of Edinburgh Award programmes.
- Qualifications
- Mountain Leader or Hill and Moorland Leader Award.
- Duke of Edinburgh Supervisor and Assessor.
- Full clean driving licence (D1 or PCV desirable).
- Additional outdoor qualifications (e.g., Rock climbing, paddlesport, snowsports, sailing, archery) are highly desirable.

This role is offered on a term‑time + eight weeks basis, with the requirement to work some weekends in line with planned trips and activities.
