Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a new adventure?

Sanctuary Personnel invite you to join our client’s friendly and welcoming team at their small animal practice. Just a 5-minute drive from Milton Keynes city centre, they are conveniently situated with direct train links to London in under 40 minutes and close connections to Luton and Heathrow airports.

They offer a fantastic location to work, equipped with advanced tools such as ECG, a high-spec Imotek veterinary ultrasound with cardiac lead and table, Idexx haematology and chemistry electrolytes, digital x-ray, dental suite (with dental x-ray), and tonometry.

This is a full-time role working 8-hour days, Monday – Friday, typically from 08:00 am – 16:30 pm, 09:00 am – 17:30 pm, and 10:30 am – 19:00 pm. The role includes working 1 in 6 weekends, with time off in lieu for weekends worked (Tuesday off following the weekend, shorter day by 1.5 hours on Friday prior to the weekend, shorter day by 4 hours on Friday following the weekend). Weekend hours are 08:00 am – 17:00 pm on Saturday and 10:30 am – 15:30 pm on Sunday.

You will join an existing team of 6 vets, 3 nurses (including their brilliant students), and 4 VCAs. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients, with assistance from ANAs and an SVN for theatre turnaround and patient preparation.

Requirements:

To apply, you should have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills. They seek cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic candidates with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
