This landmark Victorian building (built in 1884) is located in the central business district of the city, close to the Jewellery Quarter and Broad Street. About The Role

Room Attendant, Hotel Du Vin

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Housekeeping team to ensure all guest bedrooms are cleaned daily to the highest standards.
  • Have an eye for detail and maintain high standards to meet guests’ expectations of a perfect night’s stay.
  • Interact with guests; conversational English is essential. Ability to work independently for periods of time.
  • Take on a vital role in ensuring bedrooms are clean and tidy for guest arrival and continued stays.
  • Work predominantly set shifts, usually between 9am – 3pm, 5 days out of 7. Shift start times can be flexible between 9am – 10am; earlier start times and flexible contracts or weekend work can be discussed at interview.
  • Full training in the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided.
  • Experience in a similar role is not required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel is essential.
  • Opportunity to enroll on our apprenticeship scheme after probationary period, with internal development and progression encouraged.
