The client is a Wealth and Asset Management firm seeking an HR Advisor to provide practical guidance across a busy HR function. This is a generalist role with exposure to all HR departments.
Qualifications and experience:
- HR experience in financial or professional services environment
- Understanding of good HR practices and UK employment law
- CIPD Level 5+ qualified or equivalent
The role involves a hybrid work model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising on employee relations, policies, performance management, absence management, and occupational health
- Supporting family-friendly policies
- Updating HR policies and documentation
- Managing performance, probation, and PIPs
- Reporting HR analytics monthly and quarterly
- Handling benefits, payroll, and pension communications
- Recruitment, onboarding, and inductions
- Assisting with training coordination and records maintenance
- Reviewing and updating HR documentation and intranet pages
- Supporting HR projects and initiatives
- Performing ad-hoc duties as needed
