This is a remote role requiring lots of travel covering the North of England and Scotland, so therefore you need to live within these locations to be considered.

To identif y and acqui re restaurant sites, to influence the growth of the business and to support estate management on l eases and rent reviews. To be responsible for leasing, appraising prospective property and locations, producing reports and recommendations.

• To support and evolve a 3 - year plan for locational pipeline, review to allow for significant changes and market shifts
• Use knowledge of financial metrics of a Nando’s restaurant in appraisal
• Work with a broad base of local or national agents, maintain strong relationships to secure the best site
• Undertake negotiations with the Landlord/Developer and maximise opportunity for a Nando’s specification
• Create and develop a site opening programme for RD areas
• Liaise and complete homework with operational MD’s
• Acquire sites, from identifying sites, preparing feasibility reports, and handling legal and planning requirements through to handover to design/pm team
• Managing the legal/developer solicitor process through to exchange of contracts
• Engage Landlords in Nando’s Sustainability objectives
• Build relationships with property professionals in similar and complimentary businesses
• To promote best practice within the Property function and constantly look to improve processes and procedures
• Support the PM team where Estate management is required for Licence for Alterations, negotiations with adjacent Tenants, Party Wall Agreements and in any way to keep restaurants in a good state of repair

• 5 + years property acquisitions experience .
• M RICs or eq u ivalent qualification
• Sound knowledge of property market in the UK , retail or hospitality
• A good understand ing of real estate law and asset management
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Strong decision making
• Self – reliant and a team player
• Ambitious/drive
• Strong influencing skills.
