• Provide leadership in the design and development of the Global Sports App with a strong iOS focus.
• Work with the Principal Engineer and Android Lead to drive the technical direction and the improvement of tools and processes across teams
• Champion testing, code quality, accessibility, and standard methodologies as well as mentoring individuals
• Facilitate and support with the technical analysis, solution design and integration-based phases of delivery
• Coach and mentor Senior Developers and Developers, helping them to thrive in their career
• Play a proactive role with regards to the setup and ongoing maintenance of effective monitoring and alerting across the app
• Drive continuous improvement within a self-regulating team
• Assist in crafting high quality software using Agile methodologies
• Work with colleagues from other platforms such as backend and Android
• Assist with the recruitment process – identifying skills gaps and playing an active role towards the recruitment of excellent candidates into technical roles

• Good experience with Native iOS development.
• Technical leadership / mentoring experience
• Superb communication skills with the ability to provide written & verbal updates tailored to your audience
• A passion for driving the quality, performance and resilience of the app technology
• Depth in knowledge of software engineering standard methodology and non-functional requirements
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
• Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies and standard processes (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc)
