Job summary
A leading property surveying firm in the UK is seeking to hire a qualified surveyor to conduct property inspections and compile survey reports. The ideal candidate will have AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS accreditation and experience with Level 2 surveys. This role offers opportunities for professional development and the chance to build relationships with external stakeholders, contributing to the firm’s national presence and local expertise.
Qualifications
- Accreditation required in AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS.
- Experience with Level 2 surveys is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property inspections and document findings.
- Maintain knowledge of local property conditions.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards for survey reports.
Skills
Education
- Carry out property inspections and record site notes to enable production of survey reports
- Maintain a sound knowledge of local conditions that may affect property
- Understand and apply industry requirements (RICS) to formulate survey reports, including e.surv policy and practice.
- Take responsibility to maintain and develop own Continuous Professional Development.
- Develop effective relationships with all departments to optimise efficient systems.
- Build relationships with external agencies (estate agents, surveyors).
- AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS accreditation
- Experience conducting Level 2 surveys (full time or part time)
