An elite, independent residential surveying firm is expanding its footprint across in London and surrounding postcodes and invites applications for six experienced Residential Building Surveyors.

This is a unique opportunity for high-calibre professionals seeking higher-value surveys, generous commission potential, and involvement in a modern, client-centric business.

We are looking for surveyors who deliver exceptional technical reports and bring the mindset of a trusted property advisor—those who thrive on autonomy, communicate with clarity, and value being part of a respected, premium brand.

Your Attributes:

  • Ambitious and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Motivated by high fees, performance-based rewards, and building a personal reputation
  • Typically 2+ years of experience conducting Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys
  • Prefers detailed reporting over high-volume, low-value work
  • Confident in referrer relationships, marketing input, and client interaction
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Enjoys working independently with clear expectations and accountability Sees themselves as a trusted advisor, not just a technician

Key Features of the Role:

  • Focus on Level 2 & 3 Building Surveys
  • No valuations for lending; minimal Level 2 surveys
  • Target: 4–5 surveys/week (more if desired, with strong earnings potential)
  • Remote-first working, with coverage in your local region
  • High base salaries (£65k–£85k depending on seniority) + performance bonuses
  • Opportunities at Senior Surveyor, Associate Director, and Senior Associate Director level
  • Career path includes mentoring, business development, and strategic influence

Ideal Background:

  • AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS (VRS preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in corporate firm’s welcome
  • Client-facing professionalism and strong technical competence are essential
