Job summary
A leading construction firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Site Manager for stadium construction projects. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities related to steel fabrication, coordinating with various trades, implementing health and safety plans, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manage subcontractor performance, and evaluate critical path items to mitigate schedule risks. This role is pivotal to the success of large-scale construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site management of stadium construction activities.
- Oversee steelwork contractors and manage heavy lifts.
- Implement and enforce Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
- Ensure steel fabrication meets design specifications and inspection standards.
- Act as primary interface between design teams and contractors.
- Evaluate critical path items and mitigate schedule risks.
