A leading defence recruitment agency is looking for Coach Builders and Vehicle Builders to join a manufacturing client in Stockport. Responsibilities include final assembly, diagnosing mechanical issues, and problem-solving. Required experience in vehicle building and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are key. The role offers a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum and is urgent, so apply quickly!
Qualifications
- Must have previous coach building or vehicle building experience.
- Must be able to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience working on military vehicles would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsabilités
- Final assembly of vehicles and sub-assemblies.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Using diagnostic software systems for installations and repairs.

We are currently recruiting for Coach Builders and Vehicle Builders to join them on a permanent basis with salaries ranging from £35,000 - £38,000 per annum.
- Final assembly of vehicles and sub-assemblies
- Problem‑solving, fault‑finding, and rectification work
- Working from engineering drawings and standard operating instructions
- Diagnosing mechanical issues, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, proposing a course of action, and rectifying where relevant
- The use of diagnostic software systems to complete the initial installation of software and diagnose/repair any issues
- Order parts and equipment as necessary to fulfil job requirements
- Must have previous coach building or vehicle building experience
- Must be able to interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Experience working on military vehicles would be advantageous but not essential
