Our client is currently on the lookout for an Electrical Control Panel Builder/Wireman to work on a permanent basis at our manufacturing company based in Dungannon Co Tyrone. The company is a successful electrical manufacturing business specialising in Motor Control Centres, Low Voltage Switchgear, Transfer Switches, and PDUs.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: 9-5 pm - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Layout electrical control panel backplates with components.
• Assemble and label all components and fix them to the backplate.
• Layout/punch electrical control panel doors/lids with components.
• Build Modular Steelwork Enclosures
• Populate copper runs and components
• Wire mains cables as per drawing provided.
• Wire control cables as per drawing provided.
• Complete pre-checks and fill out relevant testing documentation.
• Fix labeling to the electrical control panel door.
• Modify drawings if any changes occurred during the build process.
• Perform the job in accordance with the company\'s policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read schematic drawings and assemble parts for electrical equipment.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a panel building workshop.
• Ability to navigate and interpret CAD drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good problem-solving skills.
