Biology Teacher/ Biology ECT - September 2025

A school in Croydon is looking for a Biology Teacher / Biology ECT to join their team in September 2025 on a permanent contract.

As a Biology Teacher at this school, not only will you work alongside a supportive SLT, but the school is also overstaffed with Teaching Assistants who will be there to support your lessons. This will enable you to fully enjoy your time in the classroom and not spend excessive amounts of time planning lessons.

1. MPS1-UPS3 - £38,766 - £60,092 + TLR (Size depending on experience),
2. September 2025 - Full-time and permanent contract,
3. Teach across KS3, 4, and option for KS5,
4. Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance,
5. Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons,
6. ECT's and experienced teachers encouraged.

1. Must have UK Qualified Teacher Status,
2. Strong understanding of teaching standards,
3. Biology related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university,
4. Ambitious and driven personality,
5. Great communication skills,
6. Desire to progress.
