• Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students, stretch their understanding, and foster a deep interest in scientific inquiry.
• Implement effective assessment practices to monitor progress, provide meaningful feedback, and support student attainment.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and create a positive, inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and wider school activities as required.

• QTS is essential; applicants without this qualification cannot be considered.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Biology and science education.
• Proven ability to manage behaviour confidently and effectively within a secondary school setting.
• Highly organised, reflective, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
