Job summary
A healthcare provider in Croughton is seeking motivated individuals to assist nursing staff in supporting patients with day-to-day tasks in the Inpatient Unit. Responsibilities include providing companionship, helping at mealtimes, and ensuring patient comfort. Candidates must complete an enhanced DBS check prior to the start date.

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to patients and families.
- Assist patients with mealtimes and drinks.
- Help with mobility and general tidying.
We are looking for kind, caring, committed and motivated individuals to assist our nursing staff to support patients with day to day tasks on our Inpatient Unit.
- Provide general conversation with patients and families as tasks are being undertaken or for companionship at different times in the day
- Help patients at mealtimes e.g. cutting up food or helping to eat
- Assisting patients to drink
- Assisting with mobility
- Welcoming patients and their families to the ward, offering and making drinks for them
- Answering call bells, fall alarms, telephones, doorbell, preparing for evacuation
- Help the housekeeping team to prepare rooms for patient admissions
- Help with general tidying up, flower care, providing water jugs, putting away stock etc
The rota is planned in advance on either a flexible or set shift pattern.
- An enhanced DBS check and online mandatory training must be completed before a start date can be confirmed.
