You would join our team providing psychological interventions to adults with ADHD, focused on helping them to manage ADHD symptoms and its impact in everyday life. There would also be CPD, service development and project work opportunities. Our guiding principle is to improve the lives of adults with ADHD, and we have developed innovative ways to support this client group, such as developing workshops, resources and an online self-help programme.

Most of our clinical work is online, but there is an expectation that you would be in the office for one day each week.

DAANA is a friendly team, passionate about providing high quality services for those with ADHD/ASC. ADHD and ASC are separate pathways within the service but we work alongside one another with a general focus on neurodiversity/ neurodivergence.

We expect a high volume of applications so this vacancy may close early without notice.

Carry out assessments for the ADHD psychological interventions. Provide advice and consultancy to clients and professionals under the supervision and management of the ADHD Psychology team.
  • The post holder will be supported by senior colleagues within DAANA Services. The post holder will be expected to make good use of the expertise of others within the service to further develop their clinical skills with this client group
  • To work independently within a defined managed and occupational context. To work within professional guidelines and DPT procedures and protocols
  • Receive regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the British Psychological Society.
  • The post holder's role will be conducted in accordance with a value system of person-centred care, enhancement of client autonomy, social inclusion and dignity.
