Job summary
A major IT delivery company in Crawley is seeking a Junior PMO Analyst. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in Financial Cost Control Management, along with expertise in SAP Financial software and budgeting. The successful candidate will oversee project budgets, perform cost validation and analysis, and contribute to financial reporting. Candidates should possess excellent Excel skills, particularly in creating pivot tables. This is a permanent position with competitive benefits.

- Must have experience of working with / in Finance department within Major IT delivery business.
- Must have 5yrs experience in maintaining IT Portfolio /Project /Special Tasks (i.e. Small Projects) Budgets & monthly expenditures.
- Must have a minimum of 3 yrs. experience of working with SAP Financial software.
- Used to completing financial cost control activities against formal processes across full end to end IT delivery life-cycle.
- Experience of Validating Project / Special Task Costs and Expenses on a monthly basis.
- Experienced in Forecasting and Monitoring all Project / Special Task Costs & expenses vs. the approved Project / Special Task Budgets and Contract amounts on monthly basis.
- Able to Analyse Project / Special Task Costs & Expenses and provide Financial status reports on monthly basis.
- Aware of Benefit Management with experience of drafting Benefits reports to Project Sponsors once projects “live”.
- Used to Maintaining / Updating Project Portfolio Change Register.
- Used to Collating monthly Time Recording details from PMs across all projects on monthly basis.
- Carry out financial elements only of “Project Closure” working with Finance.

- Compile Earned Value Trends on quarterly basis
- Holds at least 5 yrs. Experience in Financial Cost Control Management within a leading IT delivery business.
- Must be familiar in Project cost management duties in a variety of roles / levels.
- Must be familiar with use of SAP Finance software set up and related operational related activities (Opex).
- Excellent excel spreadsheet skills.
- Must be experienced in drafting Portfolio / Project Cost Control processes for guidance and working with Corporate Financial Management.
- Must be experienced in IT Project cost estimating practices.
- SAP Finance Modules ( SAP v 7.04 preferred).
- Good / Excellent in MS Excel (incl. pivot tables) and MS Office Suite skills - including PowerPoint.
