A leading automotive dealership in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Management Accountant. The role involves producing monthly management accounts, reconciling balance sheets, and ensuring financial controls. Ideal candidates will have experience in management accounting within the automotive sector. Strong communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. This position is critical for supporting effective dealership operations.
Description Management Accountant to producing monthly management accounts, salient figures and statistics. And contributing to the effective operation and development of the dealership by providing advice and information on all financial matters. Submitting manufacturer composites, reconciling all balance sheets monthly, ensuring that any site based discrepancies or issues are communicated to the Group Financial Controller. Adhere to financial controls and policies without exception, in line with company policy and audit standards.Prepare files for both internal and external auditors where requested. Reconciling and attending vehicle and part stock-takes, provide input into the annual budget and re-forecasts weekly forecasting and budgeting. Desired Skills and Experience include previous experience in a fast paced management accounting position.Experience working to tight accounting deadlines, and strong influencing and communication skills.ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
