Job Description
As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the finance team and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Performing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinating with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Managing financial audits and collaborating with external auditors.
- Participating in the development of financial policies and procedures.
- Contributing to the company's financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the business services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
