A leading accountancy and finance recruiter is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk in Manchester. This permanent role requires strong Excel skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage supplier accounts proactively while ensuring efficient resolution of queries.

- Maintain operational aspects of the account payable ledger.
- Responsible for supplier portfolio and excellent customer service.

My client based in Manchester are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding team to start immediately. This is a fast-paced role and as such a lot of changes and updates within the business can be last minute, so being organised and working under pressure is a must, along with very good Excel skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and adaptable attitude are also equally as important.
Key requirements:
- Maintaining all operational aspects of the account payable ledger and the specific allocated supplier accounts
- Responsible for a portfolio of suppliers, with a focus on excellent customer service
- Handling and resolving queries within a timely manner through effective communication, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Pro-actively seeking to improve or create processes that benefit all involved parties
