A leading accountancy firm in Greater London is seeking an experienced Accountant for its Financial Control team. The role involves preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, supporting tax processes, and assisting with financial reporting. Qualifications

  • Accounting knowledge and skills acquired through work experience or relevant degree.
  • High computer literacy with understanding of relevant software.
  • Previous experience in a professional services business or partnership is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Tax Enquiry Fee Protection (TEFP) process.
  • Prepare various monthly journals for posting.
  • Assist with and review coding of purchase ledger invoices.
  • Prepare monthly property cost accruals.
