Job description

Responsibilities

1. To ensure all parts and components are picked and kitted accurately for Sound Leisure.
2. To prepare kits for all Sound Leisure departments approximately 2 weeks ahead of required dates, where possible.
3. Refer to main build list on public drive to keep abreast of build dates.
4. Update build list to notify when kits are complete.
5. Produce kitting lists following the procedure manuals.
6. Manually pick all parts into cages or trays (depending on size of kit) ensuring parts are picked to minimize any damage.
7. Mark clearly on paperwork any shortages.
8. Write any shortages onto shortage board in stores, noting Works Order number, Part Number and quantity.
9. Inform Manufacturing and Materials Manager of any stock discrepancies you discover while picking kits.
10. Pass completed parts/ kits/ accessories etc, to Manufacturing and Materials Manager so that stock can be issued to the kits.
11. Physically deliver kitting lists to the appropriate production departments.
12. Support stores goods inwards receiving.
13. Assist with stock taking.
14. Assist with any other duties required in stores, including occasional deliveries.
15. Occasionally assist with other duties required in production, including building IKC products and screens.
16. Ensure that all company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to at all times.
17. Comply at all times with the Health and Safety at Work Policy.
18. Any other duties as requested by Sound leisure.
