Job summary

An NHS health service provider in Wigan is looking for a transport staff member to support patient care by delivering and picking up goods and supplies within the Trust. This part-time role requires maintaining vehicles and providing good customer service. The position offers 15 hours per week with shifts scheduled between 5:30 AM and 11:30 PM, working on a car park shuttle bus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods, linen, and medical supplies around the Trust.
• Maintain vehicles in a clean & tidy state.
• Complete service required checks.

Job description

To support the delivery of patient care by transporting goods, linen, pharmacy supplies, medical specimens, and Trust staff around the Trust and deliver/pick up from other contracted service users. To maintain vehicles in a clean & tidy state and promote good customer service to users. To complete legal & service required checks.

The job is for 15 hours per week over 5 days. The shift pattern is:

• Between 5.30am till 11.30pm depending on rota pattern.
• Working on Car Park shuttle bus.
