Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We're working with an outstanding specialist school that supports students aged 11-19 with a range of complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. The team is warm, welcoming, and focused on creating a safe, inclusive space where students can truly thrive.

About the role

This role involves planning and delivering engaging sports and physical activities, encouraging teamwork, promoting wellbeing, and supporting students to develop physical and social skills. You'll work closely with SEN teachers and support staff to ensure sessions are inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for all learners.

  • Experience working with children in SEND or specialist school settings
  • A confident, energetic approach to leading sports and active sessions
  • Strong behaviour management skills and adaptability to meet individual needs
  • An understanding of supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, or physical disabilities
  • A passion for inclusive education and promoting confidence, teamwork, and independence through sport
To be eligible you must
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
