Overview

Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Windsor & Maidenhead to recruit for Social Worker in the Adults Mental Health Team. This will be on a permanent basis paying £38,192 - £42,012 P/Annum + £3,000 annual retention bonus.

Job Title: Social Worker - Adults (Mental Health). Location: Windsor & Maidenhead. Salary: £38,192 - £42,012 P/Annum + £3,000 annual retention bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Case Load Management
  • Completing reviews and assessment
  • Working alongside other agencies
  • Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
  • Promoting service users choices, control and independence
  • Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
  • Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
  • Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
  • Working effectively with other professionals
  • Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Self-directed support/personal budgets
Minimum Requirements
  • SWE Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential
