Overview

Personal Assistant Job Description. Vacancy Ref: 244. Location Ramsbury. Hours Day and Night shifts (12 hour shifts). Payrate All shifts £14.30 per hour. Holiday 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time). Driving Licence Yes. DBS Check Yes (This will be funded by the employer).

A bit about me

My name is Ben and I have cerebral palsy. I live with my parents who help with my care. I love music and wheelchair walks and being read to. I laugh a lot and I love meeting new people. I do need 24/7 care as I am also quadriplegic.

About the role

My Carers are amazing and they support me in 1000’s of different ways. For example, all my personal care, cooking my food, feeding me and reading to me. They take me for walks daily and drive me to my appointments. They give me my medication and talk to me a lot.
