Job summary

A leading transportation solutions provider in Burton upon Trent is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment Advisor. In this full-time permanent role, you will develop and maintain safety, health and environmental management systems, provide occupational health and safety services, and support managers to deliver compliance and improvements. Candidates must hold a NEBOSH Certificate and have experience in designing and delivering HSE training. The position offers a competitive salary and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Safety, Health and Environment.
• Proven experience of designing and delivering HSE training.
• Excellent understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of safety, health and environmental management systems.
• Provide occupational health, safety and environmental services.
• Manage the internal and external audit program.

Skills

NEBOSH Certificate in Safety, Health and Environment

Experience in designing and delivering HSE training

Commercial / legal awareness

Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation

Experience with ISO 45001, 18001 & 9001

Sound IT skills, particularly with Excel

Organisational and prioritising skills

Education
