A leading financial services firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex change projects within their Life business unit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in project delivery, particularly in financial services, and a track record of managing stakeholder relationships effectively. They will be responsible for ensuring project objectives are met and will have a strong focus on fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment. This role will reside within our Life business unit as part of the Change & Transformation team and more specifically within the Individual Life & Pensions Portfolio. The overall Change team’s purpose being to provide oversight and assurance on all aspects of business change and transformation delivery for or impacting our Life business, whilst ensuring change and transformation delivery is aligned to both our Life and wider M&G strategy.
These roles own the end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex projects. You will be responsible for driving the definition of the business case, project objectives, scope, resources and expected business outcomes, together with detailed project plans. You will be expected to implement and adhere to the required project management methodologies and governance and provide the project team, including our key delivery partners, with direction and confidence to deliver and leverage the expected benefits.
The IL&P Portfolio is a cornerstone of our Life business growth strategy, delivering complex, high-impact change across multiple programmes. In 2026, the portfolio will focus on strengthening retention by transforming customer and adviser experiences, expanding our propositions by introducing innovative products to market and extending distribution through integration with leading third-party platforms.
