A growing, forward-thinking small animal training practice in Epsom is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and welcoming team. This opportunity comes as a result of the practices continued success and internal career progression.

About the Practice

This purpose-built practice is located just a 7-minute walk from Epsom train station, with ample on-site parking and close access to the town centre. The clinic is equipped with:

Digital X-ray

Ultrasound with Doppler

Expanding orthopaedic kit

Separate dog and cat wards

Visiting peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac specialists

The dedicated team includes 3 vets, 3 RVNs, a practice manager, 1 student nurse, 2 veterinary care assistants, and 2 receptionists, all committed to providing exceptional patient and client care while maintaining a strong community ethos.

Recent internal promotions reflect the growth culture within the practicethe current head nurse is progressing into a management role, with the deputy stepping into a leadership position, creating a space for the next RVN to grow and thrive.

About the Role

This role can be full-time or part-time, with flexibility for up to 40 hours per week, and includes 1 in 4 weekends. There are no out-of-hours or on-call requirements. The team is open to discussing shift patterns that suit your personal and professional life, with a focus on work-life balance.

As an RVN, youll play a central role in the daily running of the practice, contributing to high clinical standards, client communication, and team collaboration. Nurses here take an active part in:

Inpatient care

Nurse consultations

Anaesthetic monitoring

Lab work

Surgical assistance
