Overview

We are currently seeking applications from GDC registered qualified dental nurses to join our Dental Team at Barts Health NHS trust.

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. This is a permanent 5 days per week role that will be based across the Restorative Postgraduate Dental Department, also supporting Orthodontics, Paediatrics & Oral Surgery Postgraduate programmes. The main work site will be The Royal London Dental Hospital in Whitechapel.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a compassionate and caring approach to patients and be well organized and well presented.
  • Practice excellent Infection prevention and Control and work flexibly as part of a team while using own initiative.
  • Work within the Postgraduate Programme multidisciplinary team, providing a range of dental treatment and delivery of care, including conscious sedation.
  • Collaborate with consultants, specialist dentists and postgraduate students.
  • Support the smooth operation of the dental institute and outreach facilities as an integral member of the dental team.
Qualifications and experience
  • Hold a Dental Nursing qualification and have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.
  • Previous experience of working within a Dental Hospital or similar setting is desirable.
  • Apost qualification in Conscious Sedation Dental Nursing or keen interest to undergo training would be an advantage.
