Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in SEN, mental health and child development? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism, complex needs, and speech and language difficulties?

A specialist school in Banbury are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their friendly team, supporting primary and secondary-age pupils in a nurturing and structured environment, starting in September.

The Role:

* Based in a small classroom of 8 children, working closely with the teacher, fellow support staff and therapists.

* Providing one-to-one and small group support to help students develop communication, independence, and learning skills.
* Supporting children with emotional regulation and social skills, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Using a range of therapeutic strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory play, and structured learning techniques.
* Working alongside experienced professionals, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists—a fantastic opportunity to build experience in the field!
